JUDGING PROCESS
The FSAA Business Management Scholarship is our premier award to encourage future leaders and highlight the opportunities offered by the foodservice industry as a long-term career option.
It’s a public acknowledgement of the importance of ongoing education in retaining talented people within foodservice, and a way of giving back to our members and the industry in general.
Tonight this prestigious scholarship will be presented to a worthy employee of one of our member companies.
FSAA members were asked to nominate entrants from among their employees. Each entrant had to fill in a detailed application and was also required to provide a referee from their senior management.

From the submitted applications our judging panel chose two finalists, each of whom was required to make a presentation on an industry-related topic followed by a question and answer session.
Our finalists were judged on their demonstrated commitment, passion, drive, research on the nominated subject of their presentation and their ability to articulately answer the judges’ questions.
Tonight we are pleased to present our two finalists and announce the winner of the 2026 FSAA Business Management Scholarship, who will participate in a six day live-in management program valued at over $20,000.
